MOTOR HOME SPARE TIRE

MOTOR HOME SPARE TIRE - this tip contributed by Randy Zapp

If you do happen to blow a rear tire and your spare is new, do not put it on the rear. The new tire will wear down to the level of the others very quickly. A suggestion instead is to put one of the used front tires on the rear, putting the new one on the front, (it will wear less), then take the other used tire from the front use it as a spare and replace it with a brand new tire. That way for the price of one tire you get new steering tires, and your spare doesn't get a chance to get too old without ever being used.

Thanks for that useful tip, Randy!
